- The Enterprise Confidence Index
- Enterprise Confidence Index = ½ × operating-model confidence + ½ × outlook, each rescaled from the 1 to 5 answers to 0 to 100. Trust and constraints are reported on their own and are not in the index.
- Who counts
- Published figures include only senior leaders (founder, CEO, managing director, C-suite or director) of enterprises based in Nigeria with 20 or more staff and revenue above ₦500 million. Respondents who preferred not to give revenue are included when the staff rule is met.
- When we publish
- After fieldwork closes, and only if at least 100 eligible leaders have answered. Sector figures need at least 30 responses each; smaller groups are not shown.
- Limits
- The sample is self-selected and reached online and through partner networks, so it leans towards larger, better-connected and urban enterprises. Every result is published with its sample size and fieldwork dates.
- Privacy
- Answers are stored securely and are never published individually. An email, if you give one, is used only for what you ticked and is never shared.
